ENGLISH VERSION - MUSIC - THEOPHILUS LONDON

It's official, for weeks now, Theophilus London is finally releasing new songs!
Brand new stuff, in collaboration with his mate Jesse Boykins III, together they form a new band Paris 96, ( without stopping his solo carieer don't worry) this band is named after our dear french capital.
Theophilus London is not only a fashion's lover; did I tell you that he was part of the Karl Lagerfeld x Catherine Roifeld " la petite veste noire" chanel book?; he's also a Paris' lover ( who's not ? such a great city we've got :) , okey New York seems huge too and, Tokyo, and, London.... but! we have this little romantic french touch you know ahaha)

I'm going to introduce Theophilus shortly mainly because he's not that famous in France, so I thought that I NEEDED to do a post on this amazing men.
He is a kind of a rapper/singer/musiclover/crazy american artist from Brooklyn.
He released his first mixtape in 2009 it was named The Charming Mixtape, then came the album in 2011 Timez Are Weird These Days, and most recently a second mixtape came out "Lovers Holidays Rose Island I."
His musical universe if I had to describe it, I'd say that it's a mix of the best things made in every musical genre, he borrows some beats from the electro, the energy of rap, the groove of RnB, these melted with a pinch of Soul, and themes that... are mostly onto women got to confess it.
So what about, listening to some songs of him to make you familiar with his World ?:

• Let start with a little "amuse-bouche" a collab with Big Boi last summer on this song She Said OK clic to listen

• The track that made him reknown, at least the first song I've heard of him HUMDRUM TOWN, you can listen to it while partying, waking up, taking the bus whenever indeed! it will always put you in a gooood mood!

• I stand alone an other huge track of Theophilus, "clothes don't make the man it's the man that makes the clothes' punchline woupwoup

• He has also made crazy remix as the one of Rihanna's song " Jump"with the very frenchy team  Club Cheval (proud of our electro french touch ahah), it quickly made a buzz on the internet and it deserves it. It makes you mad, somewhere between sexyness and hysteria can't choose now, but just turn it up on a party you'll see the effects it got on crowd !

Now that you're a bit more familiar with my favourite Teophilus who's said to realease his new album this year, and while waiting for it, let me introduce you his new band made up with Jesse Boykins III which I was talking about earlier. "Paris 96" is extremely promising. His style and Jesse's just melt perfectly, here is the first extract, it's called Afternoon I let you enjoy it, it's precious ;)
